MainOne Cable Company Recruits Into 12 Major Positions for Experienced and Professional Graduates in Information Technology and Management Science Main One Cable is a submarine communications cable stretching from Portugal to South Africa with landings along the route in various West African countries. On April 28, 2008, it was announced that Main Street Technologies has awarded a turnkey supply contract for the Main One Cable System to Tyco Telecommunications. Main One's current cable system is a 7,000km submarine cable with landing points in Nigeria, Ghana and Portugal. Several possibilities still exist with branching out units along the coast of West Africa in Morocco, Canary Islands, Senegal and Ivory Coast as options to cater to the expected surge in capacity demand.
