NOTICE TO ALL YEAR 2009 INDUSTRIAL TRAINING STUDENTS, CLOSES TODAY

Industrial Training is a Scheme by which a student in nigerian Institution is expected to undergo practical training within an approved industrial undertaking having a specified amount of fixed assests or turnover paid up income. This is undergone by a period of 6 months mainly by Nigerian Universities and a period more than 6- 12 months by other insitutions in Nigeria.This Scheme was encourage and Supported by Nigerian Government to acquire more practical skills and experiences, So that Nigerian graduates and students will be able to applied their knowlegde, also make reasonable impact on the society.

The Industrial Training Fund Act (ITFA) came into effect on 8 october 1971. The purposeof the Act was to establis a Fund _ Industrial Training Fund (ITF) to be utilizied to promote and encourage the acquzition of skills in the industry or commerce in Nigeria with a veiw to generating a pool of indigenous trained manpower sufficient to meet the needs of the economy. This is Fund is rewarded in cash paid to students after they had successfully completed their training.


It was a great dissappointment that the 05 Matric Number students of Lautech who most of them did their Industrial Training in 2009 and graduated in 2010 are just being called to be renumerated for their Industrial training Fund which supposed to have been paid since 3 years ago.

But we thank God is our time, as been so called Nigerian Factors. So this is to Alert those that are still alive should kindly pass this information around, They Should
