Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) formerly Oyo State University of Technology, (OSUTECH) Ogbomoso was established in 1990 by the then old Oyo State (Now Oyo and Osun States). The University now is stabilized, after it had scaled over the struggle of ownership between the two Contending Visitors during PDP Regime in the both Joint Ownership States.This seriously degraded the international recognition and National NUC rating of the University during the time of this struggle.
The Present Visitors and Political Party, The Amiable Governor of State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Humble Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi came to an agreement of taking the Citadel of Learning to another greater level by empowering the staffs and employing more staffs during their visits to inaugurate the Governing Council of the University who the appointed Chairman was Prof. Wale Omole and the Newly appointed Vice Chancellor of the University is Prof. A.S. Gbadegesin.
The University has publicly advertised for vacant internal and external positions. As in Medical Laboratory Scientist II with a minimum of fifteen (15)
years experience in Medical Laboratory Science or ten (10) years
for FIMLT.
2. Medical Laboratory Scientist I (CONTISS 08)
As in Medical Laboratory Scientist II with at least three (3) years
experience in Medical Laboratory Science
3. Medical Lab. Scientist II (CONTISS 07)
Candidates should possess B.Sc/B.Tech,/BMLS,/ HND and be an
Associate Member of the Medical Laboratory Science Council of
Nigeria.
4. Nursing Officer II: CONTISS 07
Candidate should posses:
(a) RN, NRM plus 3 years experience
(b) RN and/or NRM plus B.Sc./B.NSc (Nursing)
5. Technologist II (CONTISS 07)
Candidate should possess:
HND or C&G Part III Technician Certificate or Full Technologist
